There are hundreds of websites but when I look back see my past, I find only TWO websites which helped me a lot.
I completed 90% of the project from there.
The FIRST ONE is Freelancer. I personally won many packaging designing contests to acquire clients from several countries around the globe. New freelancers bid to get projects and buy bids. They do it all wrong. The only way, you can make your reputation for long term by defeating the best freelancer in your segment in a contest. Once you win a contest, the client is all yours. And the platform is free and easy to make an entry.
The SECOND ONE is Fiverr. This is the platform where you get many things from just $5. This is the platform where you can make teams and collaborate.
HOW? For example:
You are a packaging designer. You create good packaging. You have two high budget clients who provide you continuous work worth $2000 per month. But after that you get free time. You want to work more because you like working but it’s hard for you find more clients.
So, what you will do … You will find a packaging freelancer in Fiverr whose gig got ranked and he is getting many orders but is unable to handle those orders and provide quality work at the same time. In this case, you can collaborate with him and complete his orders and get a percentage of earning.
These TWO platforms (Freelancer & Fiverr) are the best as far as my 6+ years of freelancing experience is concerned.
